This is a really common question, "what is the price for guns," or iron or any other item. Most often the prices listed by savy are usually wrong, since they include items that didn't sell. You can see those prices in the game (when you try to sell an item), or in the item page (market price).
One way to find out what prices are too high, you need to check the actual market for that item. Use the filters to get more items that match the one you are interested. Suppose you want to sell combat pants (use type:leg and rarity:common), so we can check the prices
Even if the app tells you that you can sell it for 36, don't. Currently the lowest price (22h ago) was 30 bux. So you would need to sell it for less. Probably won't sell for 29, but maybe for less. Someone might confirm the price, but you can also use that information to figure it out.
You can consider a discount upon the lowest priced item of 20% or more. So you probably try 24 or even 20 to make sure it sells. One caveat is that if the item is rare, this method might not work.
For instance the lowest price for an assault armor is 2.3k (20h ago), but the item page lists it for 1.8k. In this case, you know that 2.3k is too much. However, 1.8k might be a good start. As you see, the listed price by savy is lower than that currently in the market. So this might serve as an indication, that you might need caution using this method.
You can also watch the market for a moment and see if a similar item sells. Consider that items that sell within a few seconds of their listing are probably transfers between ships. If it sells under half a minute, it probably is listed a bit low, and if it sells withing 5m it is probably the range. If it takes an hour, would guess it priced a little on the high side.
