I understand the purpose of teleporting/boarding as an alternative method of taking down a ship, however currently there seems to be no effective way to stem the tide. Enemy characters literally just walk past your beefy crew and hit the rooms behind them, I've seen my crew stand idle while an enemy sits in the same room waiting for the elevator, every inch of my ship is booby trapped yet players with crew slightly higher level than mine can go in and cripple multiple rooms at a time. Even when my crew catch up to the enemy it seems they refuse to engage if the enemy is on the move(which is always). There needs to be a fundmental change in how crews react to boarders. Enemy crews that pass each other should have to engage.

You might want to let savy know how you see this. Think they don't visit us that much
Crew will attack boarders in the following cases:
1) When manning a room that a boarder is attacking. If your crew walks after the boarder, they will receive damage
2) If your crew is stationary and able to use their powers (crit or poison), while a boarder walks through. This implies that you have code that will allow for that. Or at least used to be, Savy changes the way powers work occasionally.
3) If your crew is going somewhere, they usually aren't able to attack boarders. An obvious exception, is when your guard is walking to the room under attack. Then they will use their power as soon as they walk in
