I want my weapon AI to hit an enemy room A, and keep hitting that room, even after it’s destroyed. But, if the enemy doesn’t have that room on board, I want my AI to hit another room B, and keep hitting that until the ship falls, and maybe keep going room C... I can’t work out a way to do that. I can get my ship to destroy room A, then destroy room B, but I can’t get it to destroy room A, and keep targeting that room, if the enemy has room B on board... possible?

To set up that AI, you basically assume you'll never be at full shield after the beginning of the battle. You set your AI to when you have full shields, target room A. Then repeat that command with room B right after it. That way it'll assign that one room, then it won't reassign because your shields won't ever be down again. If for some reason your shields are at a max again, you're probably winning, good job, you win.
